Support Your Body. Support Your Birth. Empowerment for Postpartum.
Nurturing Birth Companion Care for Pregnancy and Birth.
A guiding hand, reminding you of what you already know…
There’s a lot of noise out there. So many opinions of “how” to do this the “right” way. We have our family stories, and the stories that are given to us through the experiences of others that it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and like you’re not even sure where to start.
You are not alone in this.
You are doing great, just being here, learning about what’s out there for you. It’s a great first step.
You can write your own story, free of the noise, where your intuition is honored and the deep, ancient wisdom inside of you has a voice all its own. No matter what path that leads you down, no matter how you birth your baby, you deserve to have support, advocacy, and guidance along the way.
Why birth support matters?
Birth is not something we are meant to do alone. More than a century ago, we were having our babies together, in community, and the need for that support still exists. Research shows that continuous birth support can help:
Lower stress and anxiety
Improve birth satisfaction
Reduce the likelihood of interventions
Support smoother, more connected postpartum transitions
Help partners feel confident, informed, and included

Nurturing, empowering and completely centered on you
Every pregnancy is unique. Every family is different. My role is to meet you right where you are and offer steady, heartfelt guidance with both emotional and physical support.
Emotional and Physical Support
The Birth Journey can come with many twists and turns. Reminding you of your autonomy and your power along with the just right comfort measures can make it all feel possible, one step, and one surge at a time.
Advocacy
You are the decision maker, always.
Sometimes we don’t always know what questions to ask, or what all our options are. In those moments, a grounded voice and steady hand nearby can make a big difference.
Partner Support
Birth is a team experience, and the process can take a while! It’s nice to have an extra set of hands on deck so the birthing person always has the support they need.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
I support YOU. No matter where you decide to have your baby and no matter how. Unmedicated or not. Your choices. Your birth.
-
My intention is to empower your partner, not replace them. Sometimes that means standing by and holding space, and sometimes that means being the one to provide physical comfort measures while they are there to hold you emotionally. Every team works differently.

Midwives are trained and licensed medical professionals. Doulas are not. Doulas are there to provide physical, emotional, and educational support to the birthing person and their partner. Doulas cannot make medical recommendations, diagnose, or treat any medical condition.
